About Taylor

I am a filmmaker, writer, sound designer, editor and choreographer currently based in Hawaii.

I graduated from the United State Coast Guard Academy in 2009. I served five years Active Duty and three years in the Coast Guard Reserves. Throughout my service, my passion for film and storytelling grew. I left the service to pursue my dream of becoming a filmmaker.

From 2015 – 2017, I attended City College of San Francisco and graduated with an A.S. in Cinema Production. I worked as a freelance editor, sound editor and background actor in the Bay Area until I moved to Kodiak, Alaska where I worked as a choreographer and videographer. I’ve recently located to the island of Oahu.

My brand is Wayward Pictures because of the journey that led me to want to live a creative life. After years of military service, I realized that I could not live a happy life without creating everyday. I still wish to make a difference in the world, and I truly believe that telling stories is the way I can make a positive impact.
